Happy Friday! One week ago I had perhaps the best burger of my life. I went to Honest Abe's with a lovely friend and had the weekly special: Hammer of Thor. Oh my goodness. The details: 6 oz. hamburger, chipotle cream cheese, bacon mayo, griddled Brussels sprouts and pepper jack. Obviously I had parmesan truffle fries on the side. I've been dreaming of it ever since. Honest Abe's for the win..as always.
Here are some fun finds from around the web!
Jimmy Fallon + Saved By The Bell
// The Tonight Show // OHMYGOSH! My childhood! I had a smile on my face during the entire eight minutes of this video. Jimmy went to Bayside with Zack, Slater, Kelly, Jessie and the gang. Seriously the absolute best clip...ever. I remember watching SBTB on Saturday mornings and catching reruns at 3:30 during the week if I could run home really fast after school. Friends FOREVER.
15 Things Only Retired Sorority Girls Know To Be True
// Buzzfeed // I could not stop laughing when I came across this list. I sent it to so many of my dearest pledge sisters (oh, and our ten year reunion of pledging Chi Omega is this August. TEN YEARS!). #8 and #15, friends. Yes, yes, yes. Oh and #9 because I just can't throw away a single t-shirt.
Graphic Embroidered Art
// A Beautiful Mess // I absolutely love this DIY framed art! It seems fairly simple and straightforward, which is perfect for me (crafty things can be quite difficult for my patience). Even though we bought our house last July, hardly any art/frames are on the walls. Must get on that!
The Fact-Checked Adventures of Brian Williams
// Andy Borowitz, The New Yorker // Have you heard about Brian Williams' confusion regarding an Iraq story involving him and American soldiers? It's a bit odd. Anyway, I love Andy Borowitz and he wrote a great list of other anecdotes told by Brian Williams. It's satire, folks, and absolutely hilarious.
