Happy Sunday! Hope your weekend has been lovely. I've been enjoying mine! I kicked it off Friday with dinner in Omaha with my sister, brother-in-law and nephews. We then headed to the airport to pick up my parents -- they just got back from India, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates. It's nice to have them back home in Nebraska. :)
Yesterday I ran four miles, and it felt great! Well, my legs are a bit sore and the foam roller kicked my butt...but great nonetheless! I also had dinner with a dear friend last night. Later today I'm headed to a winery with some girlfriends. It's a full weekend, and I love it.
Right now, this Black Bean and Lentil Chili is simmering away on the stove. I'll be eating this for dinner all week + will be freezing some. SO MUCH CHILI. It's a good thing though!
Earlier this morning I went to Trader Joe's; the grand total this week was $49.
