As I mentioned on Sunday, I want to read more books in the coming year. I finally got a library card back in September, and I've only checked out two books since then. Not cool!
I spent some time browsing Amazon's top book lists and put together my own list of books I plan to read in 2014.
|In The Blood||Lisa Unger|
|Before We Met||Lucie Whitehouse|
|Mercy Snow||Tiffany Baker|
|The Museum of Extraordinary Things||Alice Hoffman|
|The Book Thief||Markus Zusak|
|The Last Camellia||Sarah Jio|
|Morning Glory||Sarah Jio|
|The Union Street Bakery||Mary Ellen Taylor|
|The Fault In Our Stars||John Green|
|The Dinner||Herman Koch|
|The Perks of Being a Wallflower||Stephen Chbosky|
|Gone Girl||Gillian Flynn|
|The Storyteller||Jodi Picoult|
|Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?||Mindy Kaling|
|The Husband's Secret||Liane Moriarty|
|Me Before You||Jojo Moyes|
|Where'd You Go, Bernadette?||Maria Semple|
I'm currently reading Divergent and really enjoying it -- can't wait to read the other two books in the series. I'm also excited for Sarah Jio's books; The Last Camellia came out in 2013, and I believe Morning Glory will be published this spring. I adore Jio's style of writing!
Have you read any of these books? Any book recommendations you'd like to make? Let me know!
