Happy Sunday to you! We've been enjoying our day so far -- it started with the French Open championship at 6:00 AM. Evan and I are huge Rafael Nadal fans, so we're very happy with the results!
Yesterday was such a great day. We headed to La Nebbia Winery for their Bottle & Cork Day. This was our fourth B & C Day that we've been to -- cheap wine and a great atmosphere!
Bottle & Cork Day = bring your clean, recycled wine bottles and they'll be filled with wine, corked and labeled right in front of you. All for only $5/bottle. Pretty sweet!
It was gorgeous in Half Moon Bay yesterday, so we sat at a picnic table and played a fun dice game (Liar's Dice) and enjoyed the weather.
Family picture minus Reyna. Our sweet little girl just wouldn't cooperate for a photo. This was her second B & C Day -- she loves people-watching and being surrounded by wine just as much as her momma!
We didn't stay too long at the winery because we had fun plans for dinner back in the city.
We enjoyed a fabulous evening with two very dear friends of mine (and their equally fabulous husband and fiance). Liz and Melissa are sorority sisters of mine, and I am SO blessed to have them both in my life.
I had the gnocchi (which I always order if I see it on any menu!), and it was great.
Our waitress at Pazzia suggested we go to the Press Club for drinks, so that we did!
Hers + his.
Sparkling wine + a beautiful porter.
It was so absolutely lovely to spend time with great friends. Very, very good for my heart and soul.
Hope your weekend was just as wonderful!
