Evan made Sourdough French Toast this morning, so we have that going for us!
To the egg mixture (3 eggs + 1 1/2 cups milk), he added 1/4 teaspoon each of vanilla and cinnamon. I proceeded to slather on the butter and drown the bread in maple syrup. Clearly.
We also enjoyed some blackberries and strawberries on the side. It was a lovely Saturday breakfast!
Oh, and we must not forget the coffee. Coffee rules Saturday morning and every morning!
I think we're going to head to the farmers market at the Ferry Building and run a few errands this afternoon before our friends come over tonight for drinks and appetizers.
