Hello, hello! Hope you're having a fab week! Just popping in real quick with another wine review. This time: zinfandel!
This 2010 Zinfandel, Attila's Selection, Dry Creek Valley from Buena Vista Winery is perfectly spicy. We received it in our September club shipment from Buena Vista (we're wine club members!). Retail price is $34, but the club price is $27.20. The wines we get from Buena Vista are definitely splurges, as we don't normally pay that price for everyday, week-night wine.
Anyway, as I mentioned, this zinfandel is spicy (as most are!). Pepper and blackberry stood out to me when I was drinking it. Zinfandels pack a major kick, so if you're still on the fence about red wine, I'd hold off on this type. Personally, I love deep, drastic flavors, so I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Psst...I was not compensated by Buena Vista for this post. Evan and I are wine club members because we truly love their winery and wines!
