I'll be the first to admit that I love snacks. I'm the type of person that has to eat something about every two hours. This has the potential to be quite dangerous, so I try to make fairly healthy choices. Granola bars, trail mix, fruit - the usual suspects.
Two new (healthier) snacks have entered my life, and I've been keeping them a secret from you...until now!
This is a random but true story. A few weeks ago I was having a legit Monday and was crossing off tasks on my to-do list like there was no tomorrow. I proclaimed to the Twitterverse that I was having a productive day - yay for me! The next thing I know Pretzel Crisps tweets me and offers a Pretzel Crisps prize bag FULL of yummy snacks.
This salty cracker/pretzel hybrid is amazing! Definitely better than reaching for a bag of potato chips - am I right?! Yes, I received Pretzels Crisps for free. Yes, these are my own opinions. :)
The other snack I've been loving is a unique twist on a normal whole grain bar. It's savory not sweet!
I won Ilana's giveaway a few weeks ago (by the way, LOVE Ilana - we met at Foodbuzz, and she's hilarious!). The prize was a sample pack of Journey Bars.
I received Coconut Curry, Pizza Marinara, Hickory Barbecue, Parmesan Romano and Rosemary. I've tried a few of the bars and LOVE the Pizza Marinara kind. Mm! While I have a huge, ragin' sweet tooth, I actually really like that these bars are savory. They are filling and rather substantial.
Again, I was given the bars through a giveaway - all opinions are my own.
