Good morning! We are having such a great time with Evan's family.
Yesterday we headed up to San Francisco to show them around. I've deemed our 3-year-old niece, Elyse, a little foodie!
We stopped at Fisherman's Wharf first and grabbed some soup at Boudin - an absolute favorite of mine. Elyse was loving the clam chowder!
I enjoyed their Rustic Tomato soup, and it was perfect as always.
Sourdough bread bowls just might be one of my favorite foods...ever.
After a quick pitstop for some dancing...
And a look at the sea lions at Pier 39 (there were hardly any there!)...
We then decided to stop at Ghirardelli Square for some ice cream!
Elyse loved the peanut butter fudge sundae - I'm a proud aunt!
Evan and I shared a Presidio Passion, which was a chocolate/strawberry concoction.
We, of course, had to take them to Golden Gate Bridge.
The weather was so interesting in San Francisco yesterday - it was sunny at Fisherman's Wharf and downtown but so darn foggy at the bridge.
Say hello to Jimmy, Elyse and Bryn (Evan's sister)! :)
I think Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz are on the agenda for today. It should be a great time!
Are you a fan of soup - what's your favorite kind?
I love soup and could eat it every day. One of my favorites is this sweet potato and black bean chili - but the tomato soup from Boudin is a close second!
