Well, now I'm just spoiled. Another surprise was waiting for me this week with our CSA produce box!
Evan added on another order of flowers on our last CSA purchase, which I picked up today. He's a sly guy, I tell ya!
For those of you who are new to The Granola Chronicles (Hello! Don't be shy!), my husband and I belong to a Community Supported Agriculture program here in California. Every Tuesday, I share our CSA goodies with you - and they're all locally-grown and organic. You can read more about the CSA program here.
Accompanying the flowers were....
I know, right? Cherries, raspberries and strawberries...together again!
It's been a long time since we last received kale, so I'm looking forward to having some kale chips soon! As for the green onions, I don't think we've ever had them before through our CSA. It's terrible that I can't remember...but we've been doing this every week since November!
Trust me. Those carrots are by no means small. It's just that the zucchini are abnormally large this week! Potatoes, baby spinach and oranges rounded out the produce for the week.
I have a fun little giveaway coming up tomorrow morning, so be sure to check it out. :)
