Yowzahs! It's Thursday - my favorite day of the week! The weekend is near, I just love it.
I want to give a quick shout out to Jacquie - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :)
So I stopped at Whole Foods after work today to use my last Chobani coupon. Sad day, my friends! Something good did come out of it though - Chobani was on sale, so I snagged two!
In my quest to try each flavor, I opted for the honey today. Pineapple is my all-time favorite as of right now, so I just had to get that one! I still have not found any of the new flavors (mango, lemon or black cherry). I've been to two different Whole Foods, 2 different Safeways AND Mollie Stone's. It's rather discouraging!
Anyway, I'll let you know my thoughts on the honey after I dig in!
Can you believe that I made it out of WF with only two yogurts + only ONE random treat?! For the win!
I was in the snack-y mood, so when I found this Cashew Crunch from Mrs. May's Naturals, I just had to give in. Plus it was only $2.99!
Take a peek inside the bag:
Ingredients: cashews, sesame seeds, rice malt, evaporated cane juice, sea salt
I was really impressed with these little pieces of deliciousness! Very light, but nice & crunchy. There are a lot of flavors, but I was happy that I stuck with a plain version first. Cran-Tropical Crunch and Pom-Raspberry Crunch both sound delicious though!
I was also happy to see that Mrs. May's Naturals gives a portion of their proceeds to charity.
Now we'll see how long this little bag lasts - knowing me, it will be gone by tonight!
Are you more inclined to purchase products if they donate a portion of their proceeds to charities?
As of late, I'm definitely more concerned with supporting companies that give back to the community. Money is a powerful tool, so I try to spend it wisely - especially when I'm purchasing little luxury items (like this Cashew Crunch).
