Howdy, friends. How's your Monday treating you? I did THREE loads of laundry this morning. Impressive, right?! I also updated my Recipes page. I had no idea that all the recipes were linking back to my old blog. I also deleted some, while adding new ones. Check it out! :)
I have the most delightful recipe to share with you. All of the credit must be given to Brandi over at Bran Appetit. By the way, if you're not familiar with her blog, you need to mosey on over there right now! She shares great recipes and seems so genuine. She's definitely one of my favorite bloggers.
Anyway, I recently made her Cookie Balls and fell in love instantly. The texture reminds me of cookie dough, and it honestly just melts in your mouth. These are decadent little treats, and Evan and I could not get enough of them!

1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup almond butter - I used creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1.5 cups white whole wheat flour
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips- I used semisweet chocolate chips
Cream together butter and sugars. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla. Beat in baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add flour to sugar mixture and mix until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Chill dough for 30 minutes – 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take dough by the tablespoon and roll into a ball. Place on baking sheet 2 inches apart and bake 12 minutes. Let them sit on the pan for a minute before moving to a cooling rack.
