Good morning, friends! First, thank you SO MUCH for all your sweet comments on my last post. Y'all just make me happy. You have no idea.
In other news...it's Friday! Please tell me you have exciting plans for the weekend. I think a hike is in the near future me. Oh, and maybe some Indian food also. Double win!
I did something yesterday that I have not done in...well, a long time. I went for a run! I ran 1 1/2 miles - the whole thing! Never stopped once. I'm pretty darn proud of myself because I just haven't been into running lately. Power walking? You know it. Yoga? Can't get enough. Running is a different story, so I was so happy to have that kind of motivation yesterday. Plus, it was gorgeous outside. The weather here in California really motivates you.
After my run, I was craving my favorite smoothie. I don't think I've shared it before, so here we go!
Pink Protein Smoothie
Source: Yours Truly
Ingredients:
2/3 cup all natural orange juice
1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
half a frozen, sliced banana
5 frozen strawberries
1 scoop vanilla Aria Protein
Directions:
Place ingredients into a blender. Blend. Pour. Enjoy! :)
So I feel confident saying that drinking a protein smoothie is pretty granola. But then I did something that is probably not so granola. I painted my fingernails while drinking my smoothie.

I'm off to work - and then I have a coffee date with a darling young lady later this afternoon. I am an advisor to a college sorority...while I wish I was still in college, being an advisor helps me get my fill. :)
